Bringing the Fullness of God to Every Person in Every Community and Restoring Righteousness to America

On every street and by-way in America live people whose lives are richly blessed. On those same streets and by-ways are also untold numbers struggling to survive brokenness, loneliness, divorce, terminal illness, death of a loved one, hunger, housing or job loss (or both), broken relationships, emptiness—the list is long and varied.

Our country is also struggling to survive—spiritually, morally, politically, ideologically. Our country needs godly leaders, people with spirits of integrity, wisdom, determination and sacrifice.

But! The good news is that on every street and by-way there are also people who feel the pain and brokenness of those around them and who believe that through prayer the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ can bring change to every situation and nation. They pray that souls and relationships of people and nations may be fully redeemed and restored.

I invite you to join me in crying out for the hearts, souls and lifestyles of both people and nations. That’s why we call it Project Heart Cry. Please note that this is not a project of any church or organization. It is simply God’s people passionately lifting their hearts to Him in prayer.

It works this way: Once or twice a week simply walk or drive your street or whatever area you adopt–if such is feasible, otherwise pray vicariously–praying something along these lines as you go: “Lord Jesus, may the people in this home (or place) embrace you as Christ and lift your name high.” Embracing Christ brings its own healing and wholeness. No matter where you are in America your prayers will be heard and lives will begin to change.

A Simple Plan

Dick Eastman, in his book Beyond Imagination—a simple plan to save the world, writes, “Early in my ministry a wise colleague and instructor told me, ‘Dick, God’s plans are always incredibly simple and unusually inexpensive. So if things start getting terribly complex and amazingly expensive, you might rethink whether it is God’s plan after all’.”

Project Heart Cry, either nationally or locally, is incredibly simple and unusually inexpensive, but it is not cheap; it requires surrender and relationship, first to Christ then with others.

Anticipated Outcome: people and communities greatly impacted by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Communities impacted by Christ impact a nation for Christ.
